What's Special About An Extruder Die Head?

The special feature of an extruder die head lies in its diverse structures (such as plate type, streamlined type, right angle, and angled type) to adapt to different plastics and product requirements, ensuring smooth melt flow, stable pressure, and high product quality.

The core features of an extruder die head are its precisely designed flow channel structure and interchangeable die system. Taking our 75-type PE pipe extruder as an example, the die head adopts a streamlined design (inner wall polished to Ra0.8μm), achieving uniform melt distribution through a right-angle flow divider structure, with pressure fluctuations controlled within ±0.5MPa.

It is specially equipped with 5 sets of dies (including dot-line/coating process modules), allowing for pipe type switching within 20 minutes via quick-change clamps. The die head heating zone uses zoned temperature control technology (±1℃ accuracy), combined with a 38CrMoAL screw with a 30:1 L/D ratio, enabling stable production of PE/PVC pipes in specifications from 20-63mm.
