Extruder Types
Extruders mainly include four types: single-screw, twin-screw, flat extruder, and ring extruder. Single-screw extruders (low cost, simple maintenance) are suitable for the production of plastic and rubber products, but have lower efficiency.
Twin-screw extruders (high mixing efficiency, strong self-cleaning ability) are suitable for processing high-viscosity, refractory materials and can effectively prevent material deterioration.
Flat extruders (high-speed extrusion, good product quality) are specifically used for the production of sheets and pipes, but have higher costs. Ring extruders (excellent plastic deformation capacity) can process complex-shaped pipes, but the equipment cost is high.
Choosing the appropriate type according to production needs can significantly improve efficiency and product quality.
